SPE Networks - Asia is established in 1997 as the Asia headquarters operating a total of six channel brands in the region, all wholly-owned by Sony Pictures Entertainment.

It brings to viewers exciting TV entertainment programme lineups that include top U.S. dramas, entertainment and reality series, blockbuster movies as well as original productions like The Amazing Race Asia, through its portfolio of six channel brands - AXN, Animax, Sony Entertainment Television, AXN Beyond, PIX and PIX Thriller.

Managers/Senior Executives, Marketing for English content

THE JOB:

Event conceptualizing
Liaising with event organizers, affiliate partners and advertising sponsors
Securing venues and event / other promotional partners
Execution of all creatives relating to the event e.g. backdrop, banners, flyers, posters
Coordinating the call for participants for consumer events / RSVP for trade events
Coordination with internal digital, ad sales, affiliate, PR and on-air teams
Actual on-site management of the event
Managing the budget allocated for events
Strict adherence and compliance to budgetary processes and procedures
Liaising with event/concert etc.
Negotiating joint promotional partnerships for the relevant channel brands including on-site branding, meet & greets, passes for viewer contest
Coordinating on-air and on-line promotion for the event

YOUR PROFILE:

At least 3 years marketing (consumer, media), event management agency or advertising agency (account servicing) experience
Experience in event marketing highly preferred
Very organized, meticulous and detailed orientated
Highly energetic and self initiative
Results and customer orientated with multi-tasking ability
Willing to work on weekends/irregular hours
Strong project and people skills
Have good contacts with event organizers, agencies and venues
Good negotiator and ability to speak fluent English and additional language ability in Mandarin/Chinese dialects and Malay/Bahasa Indoesia preferred. (due to the regional market)
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills

Producer for English Content Channels

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Creative Director
Write and produce cutting edge and strategic promotional campaigns that resonate on-air and on digital platforms
Drive channel ratings and consistently deliver on-brand creatives
Oversee post production process and manage multiple promo projects with tight deadlines
Manage and direct promo production shoots
Collaborate with various channel departments on promotional strategy across platforms

YOUR PROFILE:

Should have 3-4 years work experience in a Creative OAP department, preferably with a multi-national cable network
Should have a creative mind with innovative ideas and the ability to use audience insights to craft effective communications
Should be an expert in Final Cut Pro studio with solid understanding of broadcast graphics and sound design
Should have excellent promotional copy writing skills
Should be capable of working in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
Should be able to interpret a brief effectively into a concept and campaign
Should be fluent in English (additional language skills a bonus)
Should be a self starter with the ability to lead a project successfully
Team player with good communication and internal selling skills

Producer for ONE

THE JOB:

Script, develop and produce on-air promo campaigns to drive viewership in the region.
Keen interest in Korean content.
Work closely with internal departments including Programming and Marketing to execute channel activities.
Stay abreast with emerging trends in branding, on-air promotions, digital and interactive media.
Shoot/Direct event coverage with an internal/external camera crew.
Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned periodically.

YOUR PROFILE:

Minimum 3-4 years of relevant working experience in a Creative on-air promo department with a TV station.
Able to write both English and Chinese promo scripts.
A good command of English and Chinese languages.
Technical expertise in video production (e.g. video editing with Final Cut Pro, compositing with Adobe Photoshop)
Looking for self-motivated, resourceful, analytical and creative individual with excellent communication skills.
Knowledge of simple Korean preferred.
Working experience of a professional HD video camera preferred.
Able to work independently as well as be a good team player, to work under pressure and tight datelines.

Manager, Marketing for ONE

THE JOB:

Conceptualise and execute effective marketing plans, communication activities, advertising and promotional campaigns
Review marketing strategies and plans consistently
Drive the messaging, copywriting and development of marketing materials, press releases, email campaigns, websites, banners, communication briefs, surveys, post events analysis, etc
Manage strategic partners, PR agencies, advertising agencies and designers
Manage and oversee deal commitments with Ad Sales clients / Partners / Vendors / Affiliates
Work closely with internal divisions across Ad Sales, Programming, Production, Creative and Online for new projects and initiatives related to the various channels
Oversee communication and enforce a tight working relationships between various departments

YOUR PROFILE:

Someone who likes to be in a fast-paced and dynamic team, flair in developing creative and tactical solutions for meeting business objectives.

Executive, Programming for Animax

THE JOB:

Plan and prepare daily and monthly program based on content, ratings and target audience
Monitor the viewership/rating of the channels performance closely
Observe, study and counter other channels scheduling strategies
Manage program inventory and maintain program license system
Prepare brief and introduction for the new program

YOUR PROFILE:

Has knowledge in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
Keen interest in Anime
Has programming experience in media industry. Preferably with experience in Vision scheduling system
Has good command in English, able to write and speak fluently
Well-organized, meticulous and has an eye for detail
Enjoy planning and scheduling work

Assistant Accountant

THE JOB:

Reports to Senior Accountant.
Assist Senior Accountant in managing AP including vendor creation, review & approve vendor invoices & payments, cash flow forecast, etc
Review & prepare monthly audit schedules, vendor statement reconciliation, etc
Ensure compliance with GST & internal control requirements
Assist in documentation/implementation of SOX controls; refine work processes for efficiency
Liaise with external & internal auditors
Undertake ad-hoc projects & responsibilities as assigned from time to time

YOUR PROFILE:

At least a Diploma in Accountancy/ACCA
At least 7 years of relevant experience
Experience in coaching Accounts Executives/Officers
Able to deliver results under tight deadlines
Mature, responsible, driven & able to work independently with minimal supervision
Team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
